Ford TE Cortina S-Pack

1979

4100cc Six cylinder

Four speed manual

It was sent to the club as a for sale, I always wanted one of these. The ones I had seen were either wrecks or too highly priced. This one was the right price at the right time. The sad thing is Ford used them to get rid of 500 body shells they were wanting to clear (just like the Cobra coupe earlier).

These were limited to 500 cars all with a numbered plaque on the glove box, again just like the Cobras. They were fitted with special fabric trim and Scheel seets. A bobtail spoiler was fitted to the bootlid and they had Volante sports alloys. Driving lights and orange side striping with "Cortina" cut into the front doors to finish it off.

Nothing really, I have fitted a factory cassette player and AM/FM radio along with factory driving lights that were missing from the car.

The previous owner has fitted a lot of non-original items from Falcons and TF Cortinas, these will be removed and some other factory options will be fitted. It will have a full resto and be put on club plates eventually.
